Daniel Spence is an innovative leader, ingenious teacher, and passionate preacher that appeals to all cultures and age groups.  He became Senior Pastor of Victory Praise & Worship Center in 2015, which is affectionately known as VICTORY. He leads a vibrant ministry who desires to cultivate disciples for Jesus Christ. Excellence is enthusiastically sought and Victory believes “WE ARE THE EXAMPLE”!!!

Daniel was raised in Elizabeth City, NC, and is the youngest of four siblings born to the parents of Joseph Spence Sr. and the late Laura M Spence. After completing high school, he moved to Baltimore, MD to attend Coppin State University on a wrestling scholarship. While there studying Computer Science/Business Management, he met his wife Michelle C. Spence. He and Lady Michelle have been married for 25 years and Dalen, Maiya, and Lauryn were born through their union.

Daniel was told by his mother that as she was carrying him in the womb, God spoke to her and proclaimed that he would be a preacher. He accepted Christ at an early age but ran from his calling for many years. He ultimately accepted the call on his life to preach the Gospel in May of 2010.

Pastor Daniel has a great desire to see Gods people walking in their Purpose. He believes his assignment to the Kingdom is to Equip, Encourage, and Empower people to be who God has called them to be and do!
